I know i have to go to the British embassy and sort out a letter of Affirmation then get it translated. I then believe i have to go and obtain a certificate of residency and my fiancee needs to take her own residency log. can anyone explain what my fiancees log is all about. Having trouble explaining it to her. Plus does anyone know if the Amphur Office in Korat processes marriages between a Thai and a farang? Thanks in advance for the help. chilli13 Posted July 12, 2005 Report Share Posted July 12, 2005 any amphur does marriages ok, but sure it may be less of a novelty in bkk etc. I believe the papers are all about proving neither of you are already married & in case of previous marriages, children etc. you need full ´log´of those... embassy have the full story for both of you or your girl may ask amphur for any details she don't get all the best we plan to go the same way in sep as well Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
