How do you say.....

Thai mentality being what it is, the guy will probably drive even more maniacally if you you tell him what you propose. In Thailand, strong words will provoke a stubborn (if you're lucky) or even aggressive reaction (and then your luck may run out).

The best thing would be to say,

"Phee/nong, mai torng kap reo baep nee! Mai mee prayod!"

Phee of course is elder brother, you just have to make sure it doesn't sound like "ghost"; nong is younger brother, so decide what to use depending on the age of the driver.

So the whole sentence means "Elder/younger brother, you don't need to drive so fast! It has no benefit!"

He'll understand that you're basically pissed off and in all likelihood slow down.

If he still doesn't, tell him in no uncertain terms,

"Mai wai laeo! Yut!",

"I'm not going along with this anymore! Stop!", and get off, paying somewhat less than what the meter shows - after all, your flag-down fee of 35 Baht has largely gone to waste by getting off early.
