What about the beer bars?

Forgive me if this turns out to be a stupid question in which the answer is obvious but i need to ask it.

Is the crackdown all centred around the gogo bars, or is it aimed at falangs in general, in which case what about all the small beer bars in Bangkok, and especcially Pattaya and Chaing Mai. Will these close too?. I personally would miss the gogo bars, but if the beer bars remained open, more girls would work in them and the falang scene would continue, and the net effect wouldn't be too harsh.

I can see reasons why the government would crack down on gogo bars, and what justifications they would use, but it would be hard to shut down small beer bars, or would it?

The crack down is across the board. Thai and farang areas. Large bars and barbeers.
