sinsin2
http://www.links.nectec.or.th/services/parsit/index2.html To translate an English text (not more than 2,000 characters), type or paste it. Then, press Translate. To put a new text, press Reset. Seems to work. I cannot read Thai so I,d be obliged if someone checks it for accuracy. I'm an instructor at DLI so the translation should be OK I would leave out any embarrassing parts of course

Guest
If you left out the embarrassing parts then you would have an inaccurate translation. [ September 13, 2001: Message edited by: mushroom ]
Guest
The other day I was in a bar and the girl (15) was giving me all the dirt on the older ones. She said a word that obviously was a conclusion to a statement. So I asked her to say it again, she just looked at me. She took a peice of paper and wrote it down and asked me if I knew it. I said I didn't ,so then said she couldn't explain it as it's a bad word. The first opportunity I asked someone else. He didn't want to tell me. Anyway six people and four days later I found someone who told me the answer. My question is why say a word to someone that is not a native speaker if the conversationist isn't prepared to explain it? Maybe it was youth talking. I don't know. But, then again, now I do.
