I want land in PP take the boat trip to Siem Reap and fly back to BKK .... the last time I did that it cost about $160USD. Any ideas on a cheaper but safe way to beat that? dean
I just checked with Bangkok Airways and a round trip airline ticket between Bangkok and Phnom Penh is just over 13,000 Baht ($320.00). Air Asia now goes to PP from Bangkok and has round trips for as little as 3,200 Baht ($80.00) but does not fly to Siem Reap. I bought a discovery pass on Bangkok Air a month ago for a trip that I will take in January. I go from Bangkok to Phnom Penh and then to Siem Reap and then finally back to Bangkok. Each international segment is $80 and the PP to SR segment is $50. With taxes, the ticket cost me $280.00. I don't know of any other airlines that service that route now. Guest
Is that Bangkok air discovery pass available thru most travel agents?
dean
It should be. I called Bangkok Airs U.S. toll free number (on their website) and had them issue the printed ticket. They don't take credit cards, so I had to send them a cashier's check for $280. I'd try a local travel agent first.
