nordicman Posted November 4, 2005 Report Share Posted November 4, 2005 Have I missed something or isn't it true that Thais don't eat a lot of beans (sans sweet bean desserts). The occassional Tofu you see is really the Chinese influence--Correct? It sure would help the poorer Thai folk to get enough protein, since the rice/bean combo gives complete protein etc. I understand that rice and fish (and somtom) is the typical fare, but it seems that the amount of fish they injest just ain't enough (from a 100 kilo farang perspective anyway) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
