the_numbers
Dear all who are holders of work permits and know the joys of one-stop work VISA's at ratchadaphisek and non-immigrant visas - help a brother out. I'm about to get out of my current job, but still have six months on my one year work VISA. My situation is that I have already been hired for a new job though and immediately upon quitting will be starting the process over. Trip to consulate abroad with papers non-immigrant and apply for work permit when I return etcetera. MY QUESTION: 1- What are the proper steps for ending your work term legally after resigning a post before starting the process over? 2 - Do I have to report to any legal authority and render over my permit and such before heading abroad to process a new VISA after quitting my job? The paperwork in the permit [upon memory] is that upon a farangs resignation he has like 10 days to report it, and then leave the Kingdom..
