Guest
Is there some program that will let you type thai charaters using a virtual thai keyboard? Sort of like langoo.com (used to?) do. That is... you've got a picture of keyboard on the screen and you click on letters that then get sent to the window that has keyboard focus. I need to type short emails in Thai sometimes, but I don't have a thai keyboard.
Guest
The following seems to work ok - there is both a free and paid version. ABCThai (light) *AbcThai - an alternative Thai text programn *works on Windows systems (95 and later) - you don't need the Thai edition *You don't need Thai fonts since it uses compatible graphics *You don't need a Thai keyboard (but it is supported) *It has two virtual keyboards for the input of Thai in a separate window *And a unique fast input - selecting the Thai letters via standard keyboard *If you want to excercise typing Thai the easy way this is the right program There is a free version with some restrictions. It doesn't take long to download: http://www.ablume.com

I have even added to the dictionery and have almost 3000 lines now compared to the original 1700 or so. My question is :- Do you know of a way of importing the virtual keyboard into Word or other Wordprocessing programme? Although I am very pleased with the original package it is a bit limited in facilities eg font size, underlining etc. I know that I can savea document in 'Word' and work on it but that is a very long process. I would be so useful if I could use the whole thing in 'Word'. Sorry to if I impose but I would really like to be able to do that.Hope this makes sense.
