Pol Capt Kotchapat Traipuwanart of Samrong Tai police station said Kwan Ruangrit, 18, was stabbed to death shortly before 3 am inside a soi in Phra Pradaeng district. His friend, Ekkarat Pandaeng, 17, alerted police of the attack and police rushed to the scene to find Kwan's body on the roadside. He suffered over ten knife wounds. The two girls ran to seek their help so Ekkarat let them ride his motorcycle but Kwan was grabbed and stabbed before he could climb back on the motorcycle. Kotchapat said police later arrested the three men who were identified as Pawat Pueknoi, 20, Wikit Kwa-uthai, 18 and Pradit Moolsup, 22. The policeman said the three admitted assaulting and killing Kwan out of anger that he and his friend rescued the two girls before they could rape them. Flashermac
I'm generally opposed to the death penalty, but I'm starting to wonder if Thailand shouldn't start using it more than they do ... :onfire:
