aesthete Posted February 3, 2006 Report Share Posted February 3, 2006 I'm on my virgin trip to Thailand and the buddy I'm visiting brought me to Pattaya for a few days. We had a blast, but needed to come back 'cause the friend i'm traveling with isn't looking for hos so he stayed back in BKK. I want to go back to Pattaya before this trip is over, and don't want to leave him behind by himself again. He requires a good internet connection for work, but we're not looking to pay $200/night. When I was there days ago we stayed at the Furama, not too crappy and 800bht a night for a single, no charge for BGs unless you brought in two at a time. No connection, though. It was right by Soi 7 and I liked the location. I saw a great room right off of walking street with a jacuzzi for 2500bht, but no wi-fi. any help in this matter would be appreciated. ChristianTroy Posted February 4, 2006 Report Share Posted February 4, 2006 Last time i checked the mercure hotel was cheap, they have wifi! http://www.mercure.com/mercure/fichehotel/gb/mer/5649/fiche_hotel.shtml the sunshine vista has a wifi hot spot sign on the door http://sunshinevista.com/ the sabai lodge (sabai wing) told me they will have wifi in february http://www.sabailodge.com/ I don't know if the sunshine vista and the mercure have a jacuzzi, the sabai lodge doesn't have one!
