zzzz Posted March 11, 2006 Report Share Posted March 11, 2006 I recently upgraded from a 3MBPS DSL to a 15MBPS FIOS. Until this upgrade, the KazaaLite program was working fine. Now I can't connect with kazaalite when using the PCs with wireless adapters. There's no problem w/ the hardwired PCs. (Internet Explorer program works OK on all pcs.) D-link router provided by the ISP has higher max speed (15 MBPS) than the Netgear router (12 MBPS), which was part of the old DSL, but D-link has much lower wireless range. To get both higher max speed and higher wireless range, I decided to connect the Netgear router to the D-link; so there are PCs hard-wired to the D-link router and PCs connected wirelessly to the Netgear router. It may be that the Negear router is now a proxy router because it's connected between the D-link router and the problem PCs. I tried to reset the KazaaLite options to reflects this without success. :: Any ideas, suggestions or solutions? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
