Chillers
After reading Stickman's column on Sunday I decided to try out "Bourbon Street" tonight to see what all the fuss was about. Both the gf and I are now "Im Mahk" (very full) after feasting on the Mexican buffet, which is only available on Tuesdays. So yeah - it's tasty and you get all you can eat for 250 baht each (not including VAT and the service charge). I ate 2 full plates and the slightly built 48 kg gf polished off one plate stacked high with enchiladas, tacos, and spicy rice. So I've gotta agree - the buffet is a good meal. The only trouble I had was finding the place. It's not easy to find - tucked away in a relatively dark corner of the Sukhumvit area called ?Washington Square?. Thanks to Suadum for pointing me in the right direction.

Flashermac
I've had draught beer there on days which were "dry" everywhere else. 'Nuff said.
RayRay
Bourbon Street is my favorite farang restaurant in Bangkok. Their margaritas should come with a warning label because they are so potent.
Flashermac
There are rooms to rent upstairs. A bit pricey perhaps compared to other options, but all you have to do is roam downstairs to pig out and then wander around the Square looking for girls. p.s. Helps if you are a vet of the Korean War or earlier. VN War vets are called 'young fella' over there.
