Does anyone know of any contacts to get a better rate. Also, are there any hotels of a similar standard nearer the Mangga Dua area ? Thanks in advance. Guest Posted August 26, 2001 Report Share Posted August 26, 2001 Hi HC Boy If you are interested in a hotel in the Chinatown area, as good as Ambhara but with a much bettter rate than check my post on the Jayakarta Tower hotel in this section about 1 month ago. You can get then get local rates that are 50% off the normal room rate. Only one problem is they slide Kompas under you door instead of the Jakarta Post.
