A few of the questions I would like to ask are: 1. Electricity/water: I couldn't find information on the public utilities companies for power and water but they must exist. Do they have web sites? 2. Payment of bills for utilities: Is it normal to use a giro or standing order to pay for utilities bills or as I read on the web do you have to pay monthly at some sort of office or bank? 3. House Insurance: Any recommendations for a house insurance company (AIA, AIG etc.) that would offer cover for damage/fire/break-in? Any pointers would be much appreciated.
