shotover
I have an AIS sim with an 09 number that has worked fine this week, while some friends with prefixes of 07 and 01 have had long outages. Seems to be no pattern to outages related to prefixes. My friend has made several trips to the AIS customer service office near Sukhumvit Soi 25 to get the problem resolved. Despite the AIS office being packed with irate customers, the customer service representative did not acknowledge there was a system problem, did not explain why his sim was 'not registered by GSM', and only recommended that he and other customers buy new SIM cardsm which many of the Thai customers were doing!
