Still good for hardware, but the software selections are poor. Probably find utilities programs, but forget about games. The emphasis now seems to be on DVDs and music CDs. All of the shops I used to go to are gone. (So are most of the cute girls. They've been replaced by touts trying to sell you porn videos that may or may not work.) If Panthip should for some reason be closed, tell him to look in the dept stores around Pratunam. Some of them have software stalls right out in plain sight. itsmedave Posted June 11, 2006 Report Share Posted June 11, 2006 Was on my way to Panthip yesterday when, having been left on Pratuman to look for a Rolex (none to be found as most street vendors were gone) I walked into the INdra Hotel shopping complex for an ATM. Never made it to Panthip because I bought everything I wanted there. Good selection of DVDs and software. Dvd's 100 baht and software 120. I also am heading to the states on Wednesday morning, and need a Rolex for a friend. With the vendors off Pratunam and I hear off Sukhomvit as well, where can I get one? (One of the guys selling watches has a deformed cheek and looks like a goldfish. Wears purple or green socks usually too). Haggle hard. Moo Noi.
