I am aware of the political situation in Burma but wonder if this has curbed all nightlife in the capital or whether it is worth a visit. Regarding travel to Burma, Is it now possible to travel overland in Burma as I here of many new railway constructions for tourists or is air travel still the only legal means of entering the capital. Guest Posted February 25, 2002 Report Share Posted February 25, 2002 Unfortunately, I've not yet been to Myanmar. But, there have been a few threads on this topic, in this section. For instance, on your Regional Sanuk topic page, set the display option in the upper right hand corner of your screen to "show topics from the last whole year." Then, page back to some of the threads such as "Myanmar Sanuk," started July 26 and ended on August 20. Pattaya127 and k11fan have a few promising words amongst the otherwise critical posts.
