General Info on Manila

I plan on going to Manila for 5 days in Sept.

This'll be my 1st time there. I've backread the

board so I know what to expect more or less,

as far as the scene is concerned.

 

I plan on staying in the Peninsula or Shangri La

in Makati. Are they guest friendly ?

(In the Peninsula Bkk I had no problem).

 

In BKK and PTY I go out at night wearing shorts

and sandals, is it OK to go out that way in

Makati too ?

 

Are ATM's prevalent there ?
