Pom_Jao_Choo
Many of us less fortunates spend considerable amount of our time in our western/overseas countries. For some during our time away from "home ?" our local Thai's become important friends. On what NATIONAL holidays (excluding birthdays and other personal ocasions) would you consider bringing a "special" gift to your loccal Thai friends ? Julian2
Hard question Pom, Thais don't seem to be into gift giving as much as Westerners. Certainly not on National holidays. Can't remember the last time I got an Australia Day present anyway. Americans do pretty strange things sometimes but I can't seem to recall 4th of July presents either. Pom_Jao_Choo
Thanks for your response, I'm just trying to come up with an excuse to give a Thai friend a gift. I will try to figure out when her birthday is I guess.
