Bkkbound04
BANGKOK (AFP) - Thai elections slated for next month will be postponed, Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra has said, confirming a delay in polls intended to end months of political deadlock. Election postponed personally I'm relieved as it interferes with my next trip. jp

Flashermac
I thought the Election Committee had to approve the date and the King had to sign it. Maybe the Constitution has been thrown out of the window???
elef
Mac, sure the EC will change the date as at least 3 members declared that yesterday. It has been obvious for some weeks that's not possible to have the election on october 15, I guess(ed see thread in Meetings) that the election will be on december 3rd.
