Max
Question for the advanced residents: Does anyone know of publishing houses that publish books (in Thai language) beyond the "usual" pulp/internet-copywriting stuff? Fiction/novels/crime, history, politics: Can be translations from foreign publications, can be original material, what matters is substance - not academic but "good reads". I know Thailand is not a reading country, no need to point that out once more. Question is: are there any niche-operators with intersting reads and how and where can one get their releases/catalogue? Thanks for suggestions, Max
speakeasy-thai
DK Books have been around since the 70's, they have a huge selection of Thai lit, there must be something interesting there. thanks [Removed self advertising - KS]
