sayjann Posted November 7, 2006 Report Share Posted November 7, 2006 yeah,i started to watch it and got distracted and had to forget it. but i found it didn't really hold my interest. might feel better about it if i see it all. i don't mind horror but feel these Days a lot go too far. i prefer the older films of that genre. i remember seeing 'The Dark Eyes Of London' with Karloff and Lugosi when i was a kid.......frightened the fuck out of me....... kojis Posted November 7, 2006 Report Share Posted November 7, 2006 For me two films that I thought were outstanding and stand head and shoulders above the others I have seen this year are "The History of Violence" and "Crash" I've seen both, totally agree about "Crash", went to watch it a second time with a friend and had to wake him up half way as he was snoring... different people different strokes as they say... Now waiting for "Babel" the new Innaritu to be released in 10days. His two previous movies "Amores Perros" and "21 grams" were two ery intense pieces. On a different style took a closer look yesterday at a french dark porn movie called "Toute Premiere Fois" I'd downloaded a couple of month earlier. Weird, it looks like a suburban drama and the actresses can't act but they obviously come from those shitholes and it has a very unusual seedy side for a porn .Some cool rape scene also, altough Gaspard Noe (Irreversible film maker, another french deviant ) could have been of help in turning it nastier Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
