preahko Posted November 19, 2006 Report Share Posted November 19, 2006 a couple years back I had a traditional thai massage place recommended to me on soi 33 and it was great, plus they charged the real thai price of 250 baht for a 2 hour massage (unlike easily twice that price at the tourist places on lower sukhumvit) I want to direct some friends who are visiting there (without having to take them myself), does anyone know the name of this place? it was on the right side of soi 33 fairly far in from suk, in a multi-story building and pretty large... thanks, preahko Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Could take a bus and get off at 95~97 Suk bus stop, taxi or BTS to On Nut. If you are looking for a thai massage without extras then I highly recommend this place. Taken from np.com Hutthasat Traditional Thai Massage 15-19/1 Washington Square off Soi 22 just on the left inside. Tel. 259-5885, 258-226 Traditional Thai Massage Parlor (no extras I am aware of). This is my favorite place to go for a decent quality 2 hour traditional Thai massage when in the area. 260 baht for two hours, tip up to you. I go there often when in Bangkok and have always had a good relaxing traditional massage in a quiet setting with professional massueses. Always a nice experience there. Good AC and staff. Foods and drinks to order in the room if wanted. Farang sized pajamas as well, and good bathrooms in every room I've had so far over the past 5 years or more using this place. Between the two places I suggested I perfer May massage. To many fat old ladies at Hutthasat that like to chat during the massage. I use the master teacher there when I want to go. It's the only way to get a consistently great massage there. You have to have your special girl (get her #). You might have to go through a few to get one that you can't go without. Long Gun Posted November 21, 2006 Report Share Posted November 21, 2006 One thing that is nice about Hutthasat, especially if you are sending friends, is that they have 2 and 3 bed VIP rooms which they can share. preahko Posted November 22, 2006 Author Report Share Posted November 22, 2006 I found the place on soi 33 I was looking for in the original post (had to take my friends there, I knew I'd recognize it when I saw it...) doesn't really have a name, just a sign that says "traditional thai massage," but it's a bit down soi 33, past all the painter bars and just before you get to VIP Teen massage. their prices have also gone up, now 250 baht for 90 minutes (which is just what my friends wanted), didn't ask about 2 hours... preahko Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
