chuckwoww
They wed at gunpoint but renew vows after 30 years Nick Meo in Phnom Penh, Cambodia The first time Prum Son married her husband in August 1977 she was not a willing bride. But she knew that to object would mean death. The five-minute ceremony was held at the end of a day of survival in the Cambodia of the Khmer Rouge after backbreaking work digging irrigation canals followed by an indoctrination session lasting for hours. With 21 of her female friends, all in soiled work clothes, she was summoned to a bare room lit by a single light bulb where male workers were waiting. A party cadre instructed her to clasp the hand of a complete stranger and promise to stay with him for life. They all pledged allegiance to the party. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,3-2571393,00.html#cid=OTC-RSS&attr=World
