limbo
Vehicles sales fall 23% in January Domestic vehicles sales fell 23 percent in January to a four-year low, as consumer confidence remained dim due to the unclear economic outlook, an industry group said Tuesday. The sharp drop followed a disappointing year in 2006, when auto sales fell by three percent because of high oil prices, high interest rates, and political turmoil. January sales fell by 23.4 percent over the same period last year, with 38,643units sold, said the industry's statistics compiler, Toyota Motor Thailand.
