Guest
There is a standoff between Nana Disco's owners (who also own a few gogo bars), local police and metropolitan police. It seems that recently the local police upped their commission from Nana Disco and all the gogo bars by 5%. Now the metropolitan police (who handle the general city area) want their share of the commissions increased accordingly. The local police do not want to part with any of their increase, and the metropolitan police are trying to pressure Nana Disco and the gogo bars to cough up some more for them as well. Nana Disco refuses to comply and insists that the local police share the increase with metropolitan. In protest, Nana Disco's owners have apparently stopped paying the police altogether. So in turn, the police are forcing a crackdown. It's a standoff! ------- Thanks to EH for getting this information from one of our friends who owns a go-go bar in Nana Plaza.
