Attack on Soi 5

I recieved this e-mail from a teaching colleague (and he's not the kind of guy to go making up stories)

I think that white faces would be very wise to avoid that area around soi 3 and soi 5 at night. No point in looking for trouble is there. Here's the e-mail he sent to me.

An American friend was attacked by a man of Arab appearance near Foodland on

Sukhumvit Soi 5 in the early hours of Sunday, September 16.

Our friend successfully fought off the attacker and suffered no injuries.

Our friend witnessed the Arab-looking attacker twice making note of the

license plate number of our friend's car during the altercation.

Please pass this message on. I urge you, your families, friends and

colleagues to take all necessary precautions during these difficult times.
