Senior Military: Nothing to Achieve, immediate withdrawal recommended

Before the invasion in 2003, officers were told that the Army's war aims were to bring stability and democracy to Iraq and to the Middle East as a whole.

 

Those ambitions have been drastically revised.

 

Those priorities now are an orderly withdrawal, with the reputation and capability of the Army "reasonably intact".

Looks like Haliburton has made enough $$$ so they will all go home and work up another "freedom" exercise.

Nice priorities...save the Repubs. Errrr, isn't better to save some American lives? better to let Iraq take control of THEIR country?
