Flashermac Posted December 21, 2007 Report Share Posted December 21, 2007 THE NATION 21 Dec 2007 Some 500 protesters played dead in front of Parliament, lying down on the road for five minutes to protest against the interim legislature. They were prevented from storming into the compound of Parliament by some five policemen - 300 outside the compound and 200 commandos inside the compound. The protesters wanted the National Legislative Assembly to stop working but the NLA vowed to continue issuing new laws until the last minute into Friday's night.
