gawguy
Hi Lads and Lassies (I hope) - Yes, I know...why is he asking about Spanish here? Because I don't know where else to ask, and there are so many smart language students in this forum that I think someone may have answers. Basically, I want to brush up on conversational Spanish, and the old program that I have on CD is too toursit oriented - "arriving at hotel" "in a taxi" "on the telephone." I'd like a program that teaches simple conversation...on up to advanced. Hopefully not too expensive. Thanks, Gaw Guy

gawguy
Mira usted aqui ... Hi there, gosh... Would anyone else like to weigh in on this one? I speak Thai (sort of...you know) but I love Spanish. Spoken Thai sometimes sounds like the speaker is chewing ball bearings, especially if the speaker is agitated. Spoken Spanish is lyrical, musical, beautiful. Little kids speak beautifully at 3 or 4 years old. I'd like to learn a bit, so I look for a good computer program similar to the Thai Interactive by Mathew Courage. Thanks, Gaw Guy
