Guest Posted January 16, 2002 Report Share Posted January 16, 2002 BANGKOK: AFP Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra announced at a Government House press conference today the opening of a government sponsord factory to make chastity belts for Thailand's youth. "Lock them up and throw away the key" Mr Thaksin said to the gathered media. Mr Thaksin said that by Prime Ministerial decree, all chastity belts made at the factory would be distributed to all schools throughout Thailand, with particular attension made to the bars and go go bars as well. "This should stop drug taking once and for all" he said. The factory, rumoured to exists outside the south eastern resort town of Pattaya, will produce its first belt tomorrow which will be given to Mr Thaksin as a gift.
