There are only a few taxi meters in Chiangmai and although they have meters they refuse to use them. Tuk-tuks will take you most places for about 60 baht and there are red and yellow buses which are much cheaper but i never use these. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There are a few taxis and generally they want about 100B for any inner city trip. The little bus things, the sorngthaews are a better deal and can carry more people and luggage.
