Guest
Would I be able to find an electronic translator at Pantip Plaza or MBK, or is there a better place to shop for such things? Specifically, the Lingo Pacifica 10 "phonetic" hand-held translator.
Guest
I saw 5-6 different kinds of speaking translators at Panthip Plaza 2 months ago. The shop was on the 3rd floor at the top of the long escalator on the right after you enter Panthip Plaza. I think it was called IT Plaza or someting close to that. It was a very large shop on on a corner, had a few female employees at the entrance waving brochures with their specials. The translators were in a display case near the entrance, so you can take a look without actually entering the shop.
Guest
Thanks for the help. Actually, the one I want is specific. It does not speak. Instead, it displays how to pronounce the Thai phrase or word, as well as showing the actual Thai word (to show your Thai friend).
Lamock Chokaprret
I saw several in Panthip on the Mezzanine level. Don't know if that includes the one you're looking for though.
