Guest
Do any of the Thai banks issue an international ATM card that can be used to draw on deposits in Thailand whilst abroad travelling? My present Bank does not seem to. Cheers, ukdog
Pianoman
I have had and used my Bangkok Bank Card in the U.S. for almost a year now... I own a taxi in Bangkok which my manager deposits weekly into my Thai account, and I withdraw from here in the states... Never had a problem with it... Guest
Thai Farmers Bank have a Global ATM with which you can draw up to 100,000 baht per day from your account from anywhere in the world, provided it works that is.
Guest
themayorofpattaya -- I've got the Global ATM Card as well and find that from time to time it won't work.. I called TFB in LA and have communicated with the Head Office (in Ratburana) and the answer is that for a few hours every night (BKK time) the system goes "down" for updating and access to it is limited or denied... Sounds plausible as I've had this happen to me with my US-issued Cirrus and Plus cards also.. --UPSer

Also the daily limit is 40000 baht so I am able to get upwards of $900 per day out of it when in the US.
