Guest
I am about 45 days from departure and was wondering about ATM machines. My bank card is good for Interac and PLUS networks but not Cirrus. Does anyone know if this will cause a problem? Are most of the ATM machines both Plus and Cirrus compatible? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Guest
I live in BKK, and I get all cash exclusively from ATM's drawing off my US bank account. Concur with GC - ATM's working on Plus system are widely available throughout Thailand.
buddy_guy
ATM cards almost any type no problem. The only nthing I would warn you about being from Vancouver that if you have a credit union account like from Van City you will get ripped from the exchange since they change it from baht to US dollars and then into Canadian$$. If you have HSBC or some other bigger international bank you will get a better deal and not get double dipped on the exchange.
