Guest
I have an account with SCB and an ATM usable in Thailand. Is it possible to get a ATM visa or such that I can draw down money when outside Thailand. If so, with which bank and would I need a work permit to open an account there. Cheers
Guest
Just tell your currentt bank that you need a card for outside the country. I use mine all the time. I've used both SCB and Bangkok bank out of the country.

Pianoman
UKDog, I have a Taxi business in BKK and regulary withdraw $400 to $600 from my Bangkok Bank Savings Account... You need to let them know that you want this ability when openning the account.. No work permit required... I did get a lot of strange looks while openning the account and told them that I wanted to have the account so that my Girlfriend could deposit money and I could withdraw from the U.S.... It really threw them for a loop... But no problems... Pianoman
