A question for the teachers

Recently a girl I know obtained a RSA certificate in the states and has recently moved to Bangkok. She did some part-time work before moving but does not have that much experience. Anyway, she lied on her resume and said she had a four-year university degree. Well, the school is ready to sponsor her (get her a work permit) so she went a got a fake degree. Now she is VERY nervous about going to immigration but I am not sure how much they check these things. She tried to ask this qustion on ajarn.com and got flamed to hell by every pompus "real educator" in Thailand. Anyway, if anyone know how much immigration looks into these thing I will pass it on to her.

No preaching please. I'd rather give her no answer that tell her she is being flamed over here as well. She really does seem to be a dedicated teacher and is well liked by her students and employer at the moment.
