allistar
I went ahead and applied Friday for the "celebration" at staples Tues. I got my "congrats" email about an hour ago. As I will be 1,500 miles away, I signed my nephew (who lives in L.A.) up for the tickets (I doubt if he will go, particularly if he has to work on Tues.) I would expect, except for the free tickets, that everything else associated with a rock concert will be available at higher than normal prices. I know if I lived in LA, I couldn't wait for wednesday to arrive.
allistar
Just listening to the mid day news. Offers for the tickets on ebay are at $10,000 and up. I don't think my nephew is getting the tickets after all.
allistar
I just checked Ebay and there are 4 people listing tickets for sale, with bids from $13,500 to $1,000,100.00. If I get a million dollars for the tickets, I'll sponsor a Thai 360 nite in Bangkok for all members before July 5.
allistar
Back to plan one. Ebay and Craigslist are taking off the postings as soon as they are listed. I'll let my nephew take the tickets and if he wants to scalp them at Staples, thats fine with me.
imperial
I think he needs to pick up the tickets today at dodger stadium and also get armbands at least thats what they are showing on local TV BK PS....hope he makes big $$$$$$
allistar
The time to pick up the tix has been extended to 7:30 P.M. local time. He's leaving around 4:30 to pick them up. When I registered last nite, I put them in his name, so I don't think he will have any problems getting them.
imperial
they put the wristbands on at Dodger stadium today , if he is going to sell them he will need to take the wristbands off undamaged..... good luck , I hope he makes $$$$ BK PS...whats the chances of a riot by all the people who did not get in , but went to Staples center anyway , afterall thia is LA ! allistar
I believe that they will put the wristband on one of the persons picking up the tix. The other wristband can be put on later, like tomarrow. That leaves one tix available to sell. If there is a riot, you can watch it on just about any television channel. imperial
I am sure he is smart enough to get the other wristband off without damage. let us know how it works out BK
allistar
My nephew just called. He got his 2 tix and just had to supply the printed voucher, no ID was needed. They did put one wristband on, but he has 2 tix and 2 wristbands, so he might make some money tomarrow.
