WorldFun Posted August 6, 2009 Report Share Posted August 6, 2009 right main professional info to be found under 'rumours' is that Sumui runway 35 is way below standards as to clearance around the runway - both terminal building & fire station aka old control tower (which plane crashed into) as well as new control tower way too close & should be rebuild ASAP similar to Phuket (with similar accident with 12go air recently) & another at Samui in '97 so everyone willing to enforce total boycut be it passengers & PILots until safety standards are enforced?
