Ed Zeppelin
I've always enjoyed Indian beer. I've always found it thirst quenching in the hot weather and it has a distinct taste. When in India we used to drink Haywards 2000. I remember that was quite a strong one and we would down a couple of large bottles of it. Back in the UK, I found imported Cobra for a while which was direct from Bangalore, so that was always a treat. Then they switched to brewing it under licence in Germany, and to me it never tasted the same. Kingfisher was also brewed under licence in Germany and that too didn't taste the same. They sometimes sell imported Indian Kingfisher around the corner from my apartment here in Bangkok. What I would like is to find is some Haywards. Also, mustn't forget the Indian nibbles to go with it.
