bgtp
Just watched the fight and congratulations to Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym for his 3rd round KO victory over Bernard Dunne in Dublin to win the WBA regular super batamweight world championship. Of course, there are several world champions in each division, three in the WBA alone. Still, to go and win in Ireland is a great accomplishment. I was impressed when I saw him fight in Bangkok last year. Good to see him get his shot at a title and make the most of it.
Flashermac
A former Muay Thai boxer - now a referee - told me he tried western boxing and didn't like it. He said that in Muay Thai the blows were spread over your body. In international boxing too many blows were to the head. He claimed Muay Thai was easier on you! bgtp
Never thought of it that way. Kind of makes sense in that fewer blows to the head has to be better with respect to brain damage and such.
