I never said Thais were pathological liars (though I'm sure many here would say that they were), I meant that when they *do* lie, they're not particularly *good* at it! As for the crack about the US: hmm, well, I'd have to agree with you there, it is full of obese gun nuts, one of the reasons I spend as much time as I can in Thailand, ha!
