Flashermac Posted March 22, 2010 Report Share Posted March 22, 2010 His Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone roles were pretty ridiculous (Crockett was 5' 9", Boone 5' 10" - Parker was 6' 6! - and neither Crockett nor Boone wore a coon skin cap), but ole Fess was a good guy. Who can forget him from when we were kids? RIP Big Guy. If I remember right, the big lug was a Marine in WWII.
