BaronTT
A Thai friend of mine is tired of working for others, so he's considering opening up some type of business on his own. Doesn't have a huge amount saved to start... about Baht 200,000. Some ideas: Bakery Massage Parlor (Traditional) Cheap gold jewelry Baby-sitter Other??? I thought that perhaps a mobile phone stall might be good. A recent article in the Bangkok Post mentioned that with a 200,000 initial stake, the cash flow is about 500,000 on a really good weekend. (If I remember the number correctly. I DO remember that it was very high.) He speaks pretty good English (educated with a Master's degree), so he could service expats. Any thoughts on these possibilities or others? I'm a bit wary about the success of opening a new business that they know nothing about....
Guest
I have just launched a web site Ask Me and am looking for people who speak reasonable English who are prepared to answer any queries that we might get for a fee. If you are interested it might be worth looking at it as a possible side line.
