doxx Posted August 9, 2010 Report Share Posted August 9, 2010 I watched ('No', I struggled to watch) Chinese big budget movie "Confucius" (2010) last night and I was sickened by it; Not only was the storyline total crap and hacked up (safe to assume Chinese officials did all the work in the cutting room) but government interests in the narrative were so visible you could nearly touch them. This movie is just a Chinese propaganda tool that amounts to a big nothing and hopefully it does not set the tone for Chinese film to come (China has produced some excellent film in the past).
