Lusty
When you book online with Air Asia,is the price you see the price you get and are you guaranteed to get on the flight you have booked on at the time/date specified? In another words "No Bullshit". Their coming out half the price of Bangkok air and will give it a go if if your feedback is positive.

br28016
Limited experience flying with them but not had any problems when I did. Flying to Macu a few years ago was talking to someone in departures that they had just had a text message to say that their flight back had been canceled and they had been moved to a later flight but at least the same day - don't know why. They're similar to the other budget airlines in Europe with extra's, for example luggage over the relatively low limit - got charged flying from cambodia to bangkok but wasn't that much and could have bought a larger luggage allowance when booked the ticket - extra cost was less than the cost of the higher luggage allowance so no real problem. There will be other little extra's which might not get with a full service airline but they're all going that way. If you've flown Ryan-air you'll be used to it but don't think they're quite that bad. Have flown with them in the past and quite willing to fly with them again but as mentioned by others do need to check the extra's.
MooNoi
No problems at all, Lusty. Take some advice - spend a few baht more and book priority boarding. Much more civilised. For a flight of 1 hour duration, if it's half the price, it's worth it IMO. Usually on time too and nice eye candy with the flight attendants.
