chelseafan
Those damned Iphones can do anything these days, anyhow here is a link to the Thai Dictionary for Iphone. I've played around a bit and it seems quite impressive, it will also play the word phonetically as well as display Thai script. A bit pricey at £14.99 perhaps http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/thai-for-beginners/id405688629?mt=
zen4dummies
I wish that they would publish their Thai & English Dictionary on an iPhone app. The only one they have on the website is for the Palm OS. Thai Dict is the only translation dictionary I found on the app store. http://www.paiboonpublishing.com/
zen4dummies
I just found the Paiboon dictionary on another website. http://word-in-the-hand.com/thaidictiphone_ov.html I think that I will buy it. I have an iPod Touch 2 and the ad indicates it will work on an Ipod.

It is just like the book and you can find words in Thai or English much faster. You can put it on 3 iPod/iPhone devices. zen
McBif
That link leads to the "Thai For Beginners" by Becker, not the dictionary. Anyway, I have the Becker dictionary for iPhone, iPad touch etc. and it's great. I bought the Palm version years ago, and this is of course much better since it has audio. Question regarding the "Beginners" software: Is it standalone, or does one need to have the "Thai for Beginners" book handy? The blurbs seem to be vague on that point.
