Hugh_Hoy
One lesson that should've been learned by the pirates, but one that was not taught: if hostages are harmed, no prisoners will be taken. HH
Guest lazyphil
omg, time to vapourise these streaks of piss with unfeasably large amounts of fire power and anialate all their boats on the shores of somalia. its time to get to work on them and end this debacle once and for all
HSTEACH
Maybe it's time to blockade the coast of Somalia. Stay within say a hundred miles of the coast and you're OK. That should give the real fishermen enough to fish. On the other hand, venture further than a hundred miles from shore, be prepared to have your ass blasted by a Hellfire missile from a Predator AUV. Dexi
Good idea...one problem is the size of the area that needs to be patroled - its massive, and would require a big increase in the resources presently committed.I hope we are not giving these fu**ers any foreign aid... BadaBing
My idea would be for NATO to get together and set up " bait boats " , not fishing bait , boats with a facade of a normal boat , but loaded with teams of special forces. When those scumbags are in sight , all hands on deck and blast them out of the water. No room on the boat for prisoners , turn them into shark food. Time for the west to lower our standards and play on their turf rules.

TheCorinthian
U.S. Commandos Capture 4 Suspected Pirates in Raid http://www.foxnews.com/world/2011/03/06/commandos-capture-4-suspected-pirates-raid/ Anti-piracy officials say U.S. commandos have captured four suspected pirates who boarded a Japanese-owned oil tanker off the coast of Oman. A statement by the international anti-piracy task force says the 24 crew members on the MV Guanabara took refuge in a protected part of the vessel after reporting they were under attack Saturday. A special unit from the destroyer USS Bulkeley boarded the tanker Sunday and detained the suspected pirates about 328 nautical miles southeast of Duqm in southern Oman. The statement said no shots were fired and the merchant crew was not harmed.
