gobbledonk
Flash, it sounds like your arrival sparked some pretty intense 'lovin' among the Thais I'm a bit weird when it comes to the boutique places - while I can look at a 2K USD tube amp in Singapore and think 'Hell yeah - that is definitely worth every cent !', I wont spend more than 50 bucks on a shirt. I guess its all priorities, but the boutique fashion shops would all go out of business if they had to rely on Cheap Charlies like me. Particularly sad when you see fat chicks shopping for clothes. SurinBum
Mindless consumption and accumulation = civilised development? If this is what passes for standard, I'll take a rain check.
riolobo
I was in Chiangrai last year when they were still building the new Central Mkt across from the old Big C along the Super Highway,I love Chiangrai,I just stay down the road in Phan when I do come to Thailand. Great area, fun for riding a motorcycle, plus I love the green rice fields and the people are pretty much nice too.
