Flashermac
As the country's prime minister, Yingluck Shinawatra receives a higher popular rating than in Abhisit Vejjajiva, Abac Poll revealed on Sunday. The poll was conducted during Sept 10-24 on 4,028 people of all walks of life aged 18 and higher in 17 provinces. Most or 48.5 per cent of the respondents said they had faith in neither Ms Yingluck nor Mr Abhisit as prime minister, while 38.6 per cent had faith in Ms Yingluck and 12.9 per cent in Mr Abhisit. Abac Poll director Noppadon Kannikar said Ms Yingluck's popularity of 38.6 was barely enough for her administer the country without difficulty and resistance. If without support from senior people in society she would find it more difficult to maintain her status as the country's leader, he said.
